Alcotec Vodka Kit - trouble with fermentation

Hi, we are newbies to making spirits and started a batch of the Alcotec vodka. It seemed to start off well but fermentation has stopped and it’s gravity is still way too high. Can it be rescued or do we need to ditch it?

The Alcotec kits and yeast are known for being very reliable and issues are rare, if the readings have stopped and are too high it would just be worth double checking you are within the specified temperature range. If the temperature is all OK then giving the brew a good stir with a sterilised spoon or paddle can often help to rouse the yeast and get it working, and it should then continue to ferment. Worst case a re-start yeast will help it along the most important factor is temperature
