Adding priming sugar - which is the best way?

With the Brewferm kits – First you siphon the beer into another clear fermenting bin, added sugar, mixed and then bottled it. This seemed like quite a clever way of adding just the right amount of sugar so that all the bottles would be the same. Do you think this method could be used with all the other beer kits or do they perhaps not want to be disturbed that much?

Some people do use a similar method for adding priming sugar, but rather than syphoning into a new bin a popular way is to mix up a sugar solution which can then be measured easily and poured into bottles better than sugar. This method works for all styles of beer so might be a good option. You don't want to be introducing oxygen to the beer if you can help it, so a method which involves stirring the beer is not ideal.
