Hi Sintara, when making the Mangrove Jack's roasted stout the manufacturers suggest to add either 1kg of sugar or a 1.2kg pouch of liquid malt extract, other extracts are available but this is quite a good price and the end result will be as the manufacturers intended it to be. You can use a bolster kit to add more flavour but this is used in addition to any sugar or enhancer, for the first time making the Mangrove Jack's range you will probably find using their liquid malt extract gives good results, if preferred they can then be tweaked with extra flavours

ah iv already placed my order now i bought both Mangrove Jack's Mangrove Jack's 1.2 kg Pure Liquid Malt Extract and Bolster Kit - For Stout And Porters

The extract will give the brew plenty of body and flavour, if you also use the bolster kit this will add some extra hop aroma and malt flavours

so any ideas on how much sugar to you for batch priming for this kit
