Soda/Sparkling water

Would it be wise to top up my keg with fizzy water after I have fermented and syphoned my beer into the leg. I have about two litters worth of space in the keg.

I would probably advise against it, what would you be trying to achieve?
Beer League: 1. Young's - American Pale Ale 2. Bulldog Brews - Imperial Red Bad Cat 3. Young's - IPA 4. Young's - American Amber Ale 5. Bulldog Brews - Evil Dog Double IPA

My beer is always on the string side and it's a way to water it down but water it down with a bit of fizz. Has anyone tried this before?

You do need some head room in your keg, altering the strength is usually done when brewing the beer - you can either ad less sugars to the beer, or make it to a larger volume by adding more water - this dilutes the strength and also the flavour too. If you have less than 23 litres/40 pints in the keg you could add some water, and it would probably just dilute it
