Hi everyone!
Hope that someone on here can help me? I live abroad for approximately 6 months of the year, and where I live is almost impossible to obtain any home brewing equipment. For the last few years, I have managed to continue my home brewing there, by using a 19ltr water bottle as a sanitized container, combined with a bubbler. Just before I returned to the UK this last time, I managed to break the bubbler, and am now desperately trying to find one that will fit these 19ltr water bottles. If anyone one knows the diameter of a 19ltr water bottle, or can point me in the right direction to get a bubbler for one, it would be very much appreciated! Many thanks...Chris

If this is possible then we suggest to drill a 12mm hole in the water bottle lid, and fit one of these rubber grommets:

The rubber grommets will then make a seal with airlocks such as these:

If you need a solution for a fast fermenting brew then perhaps use a blow off tube, fit the rubber grommet as suggested, but instead of an airlock push a length of this tube through it, then place the open end of the tube in a vessel of water - it creates an airlock but there is no restriction on the amount of gases escaping, other than the tube diameter:

Hopefully this helps
