Wobbly Gob Cider

I'd read a few reviews about this and chose it because it seemed to have a higher fruit content than some and it's reviews were pretty good.
I've made gallons of cider this year from the apples in our orchard ............ so why would I want to make one from a kit? Well I wanted to compare and see what it was like v the 'real thing'.
It ain't half bad.
In a tasting, I'd probably pick fresh pressed apple juice made into cider, but this isn't far behind. It didn't behave exactly as per instructions - it took a lot longer to ferment out and FG went down to 1.000 as opposed to the 1.006/4 as suggested.
Because it fermented out a bit dryer than expected, I back sweetened it a bit with a small amount of non fermentable sweetner, I'm not over keen on very dry cider, but this is a personal thing and I wouldn't suggest any one else did the same without trying it first.
So, would I buy this again - yes I would, particularly at the times of the year when apples aren't available in bulk.
Cheers Jx
