Too much sugar for carbing

Hi
I have just bottled 17 x 500Ml glass beer bottles of brewferm grand cru. I stupidly got my calculations wrong and added twice the amount of dextrose recommended for carbing. I have now put the bottles in a warm area and put them on top of polythene bags in case they start to pop. I've also put a towel over the top of them.

I am wondering should I do anything else? Maybe recap after a week or so to release some of the gas... Or should I just leave them?
